Amazing Experience At Kacie's Jetty

When we arrived at the Ocean City inlet last week there was solid cloud cover and it was raining slightly. But, as we walked to the jetty, suddenly the sun broke through and remained until we began walking away to the car. I chiseled her initials right below the initials that Jeff put there several years ago. The rock is easy to find if you use Natalie's jetty picture as a guide. Be careful, Kacie's rock is always wet and slippery.

Clone Dream

I had this dream two days ago.

Somehow, Kacie's DNA was used to create an exact duplicate of her. She was about 10 years old and I took her to a sales convention of a company that I worked for years ago. She talked, laughed and smiled throughout the entire meeting and it was great to have her there until I realized that it really wasn't her but just an imitation.

A Short Happy Dream

I had this one this morning and it got me started in a good mood.

Some of our previous neighbors in our old neighborhood in Woodbine invited Beebs, Kacie, and I to stay with them for several days. Beebs told me that Kacie wanted a room on the second floor because it would be sunny up there.

Short, sad dream of Kacie

I have not had a dream of Kacie that I can remember in a long time. Early this morning, I got a phone call and it was Kacie's voice. She told me she needed to talk to Grandma or Mimi because she thought they had almost convinced the ER nurse of something?.....(not clear), and then I woke up. I wanted to go back to sleep to continue the dream but couldn't.

This weekend I had a dream that I was talking with a man who was going to marry Kacie. I don't know who he was but for some reason I did not like him. I decided that I had to go talk to Kacie and see what was going on. I went back to Mimi's old house in Catonsville. I went to knock on the door but noticed a rolled up large piece of paper. The paper read something along the lines that by state law the person in this house was grieving and should be left alone. This upset me and I decided I wasn't going to listen to the notice. I began banging on the door with my fist. Immediately, a woman opened the door. It was Mimi but she was much younger and had very long wavy blonde hair. She yelled at me "Don't you have any manners!" I began crying saying I just wanted to talk to Kacie. At that point I woke up because I think that the dream got to emotional and actually woke me up.

They phoned us this afternoon and said that the video that we submitted one year ago was "hillarious" and they would contact us if they decided to put it on a show. I don't want to ruin the surprise for America, but it involved my incredible talent to create very familiar sounds with my hands. Stay tuned. As soon as we hear something we'll alert our friends on this site.

Kidnap Dream

I had this strange dream last night.

I was working in an office building in Washington, D.C. and I heard several people talking about a plan to kidnap Kacie. Apparently two of the managers in the building were working on a scheme to capture Kacie. When I confronted them they denied everything and as I was leaving the building I noticed a woman with a pile of letters that she was about to put in the mailbox. One of the letters was addressed to Casey New.

Kacie's Jetty Damage

We just saw a photo showing the collapsed tower at the tip of Kacie's jetty at Ocean City. It has been destroyed by hurricane Irene. Hopefully we can still visit Kacie's inital rock at the jetty next month. The jetty itself looked intact.

Us residents of the island are very concerned that as we are lying on the beach tomorrow and watching the storm pass far out to sea, a slight breeze might be generated that could blow a little sand into our pina coladas.

Cristy Christ Dream

It's been a long time since Beebs and I have had any dreams about Kacie but I had this one this morning.

Several messages from Kacie were left on our house phone. It was Kacie's voice but I just couldn't believe that it was really her. I hesitated to tell Beebs but when I finally did we discovered the phone number of the caller. I called the number several times and the girl said hello and I quickly hung up and it was Kacie's voice. Finally we discovered that the name of the female caller was Cristy Christ.

As a young lad in Baltimore, my greatest dream was to have my picture in Fishing In Maryland Magazine. Finally, it happened in the fall of 1966. I wonder if the magazine is still being published.

A Dog's Tale - Timing Is Everything

In January, Kacie begged us to adopt Val but I was against it and made her wait for a month or two. By then Val had been adopted and I told her to find another dog if she really wanted one and she got on the internet and found Gus in Augusta, Georgia. He was born in February. Good things come to those who wait.
