Thinking of Kacie

This afternoon Larrisa, Vince and I all had dinner together at the Double T Diner in Catonsville off Rolling Road. Well actually we all had breakfast for dinner :) Coffee, Eggs, bacon, Pancakes, French Toast. And Larissa treated us. It was really nice.
Afterwards we went over to the Asian mart across the street from the diner. Kacie liked to get the spicy tofu there. I bought a couple packages. I also got Pocky candy which Kacie liked too. I forgot to get the Jasmine tea she liked.

Then since we were in the neighborhood we also drove by Mimi's old house on Chanceford Road. Still looked the same and had the Iron horse in the driveway.

After that we went to the new Good Will Thrift store on RT. 40 that opened up by where the old Toys R Us was. One of my favorite things to do with Kacie was ravage through thrift and antique stores looking for unique and interesting finds. I didn't find anything this time. But Vince got a shirt I think. While we were in the thrift store the song "Under the Boardwalk" came on by the Drifters. It was funny because you could hear various people in different parts of the store start singing and whistling the song as soon as it came on. Kacie liked this song. She had it on her Itunes. Enjoy.

That was a great Kacie tribute day.

Interesting you should bring up the Drifters. Circa 1993, we were staying at the Fenwick Inn and were surprised to hear that the Drifters were appearing at the roof top lounge. The Drifters were very approachable and Kacie and I spent a lot of time talking with them before and after the concert. After the show. they invited me back to their dressing room and I had a great time just hangin' out with the legends.

We appreciate everything you did in Kacie's memory. We would have loved to spend the day with you guys visiting some of her favorite spots. We will start searching for the Pocky candy and tofu that she liked. Thanks you guys for the wonderful friendship you shared with Kacie and now with us.

Love, "Beebs"
