Old Man Takes The Lead In Kacie's Book Club Contest

I just finished this classic but I'm not too sure that it's for everybody.  For the most part, it is very complex and very difficult reading at times. It deals mainly with the interactions of a group of people in a small village in 19th century England.  A lot can be learned about how people think and react to various situations but there isn't enough action to grab most peoples' interest. Critics often select this  as the greatest novel of the 19th century but I've read better.
