another caton avenue good will experience

Not sure if you remember, but a while back I visited Kacie and I's favorite thrift store on Caton Avenue in South Baltimore. While I was there I found a brand new pair of a pair of suede loafers that Kacie and I had both owned several years ago and they were exactly my size. I recently went to the thrift store again last week. While browsing the clothing I found several blouses and jackets that the brand name was "KC". Here are some photos I snapped. Pretty Cool huh?

the two last photos are larissa and amanda at the karaoke bar called, "The Sandbar", Kacie and I had gone there a couple times before. Amanda and I sang a MJ song. The next morning we all got Eggs Benedict (kacies fav) at the restauraunt in the Dunes Manor hotel (there is a picture of the menu)

Then there is one shot of Amanda and I on the jetty that morning. (Larissa is too chicken to come all the way out on it :p )

And then ofcourse our frozen chocolate bananas on the boardwalk, Amanda opted for a milkshake from Dumser's.

We had a great weekend, wish you all could have been there with us!

here is a very short video of an old man performing on the boardwalk.... he was one of the many we saw. We saw one man performing "billy Jean" on the violin.... didn't grab my video in time... shucks.

here are some photos from tea time, as you can see on the photo inside it was very busy in there. The crumpets were delicious as usual.

the jetty at night

you can't see a whole lot in this video.... but it is the jetty at night. you can hear the waves and the jetty thing beeping and then at one point i pan back to the boardwalk at night. at the end of the video you hear me mention seagulls. To the right of the jetty in the water there must have been hundreds of seagulls all sitting on the water. I tried to show it but my camera isnt very high quality so it didn't really show up. Kacie loved seagulls. I always told her they were rats with feathers but she still thought they were really cute.

sorry for the long delay in getting these photos and video up. This was a video shot while sitting on the back porch of the Dunes Manor Hotel, while sipping some tea during tea time. There is a lot of wind noise and it is a little bit shaky at times but thought you would still want to see it.

Kacie recipes

Since we are on the subject of kacie's fav foods, I was trying to remember some of her favorite recipes. I don't really remember ever seeing anything written down or any recipes that she saved. I know she always made up her own concoctions, like tofu dishes, etc.

If anybody has any recipes of hers, original or favorites that you know of, please post them.

I would love to save them as a memory. Thanks!!

i am having dinner at one of Kacie's favorite restaurants right now! The Vegetable Garden on Rockville Pike. It's vegan Chinese food if you can believe it! Just sitting here is making me think of her :)
