Kacie loved noodles and cheese from the time that she was a toddler until her adulthood. She was so fond of noodles that we called her Kacie Noodle New.
Kacie was OBSESSED with cheese. When I was training in Wisconsin for my deployment, Kacie used to text me on my phone EVERY DAY to ask if I could bring her back some cheese. Every time she asked, I told her the same thing I was always told her, WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE BASE!
That wasn't good enough....she just kept asking everyday.
We used to always love going to markets like Whole Foods and Roots in Maryland and Central Market in San Antonio to pick out a block of some kind of cheese we hadn't had before.
I can still hear her say "love it!"
