Did anyone remember any cars Kacie really wanted? I always remember her wanting a VW Thing and thinking it was hideous. I think I remember her saying she wanted a purple one eight years ago but I think she would have liked the orange one better.

i do remember her really liking the last car she had. She wanted to get that car for a while (the scion). I test drove a couple cars with Kacie at different times. She also really liked the Prius. At the time she was still driving the first gold corrola. She had the dealership assess the car to see how much the trade in value was and they told her she was better off donating it to charity. Hahaha. we laughed so hard.
I can't believe you found a Thing and especially one in her color!!!!
I was looking at them online and realized that she could have had one if she wanted. I don't think they are even worth it but you can one in good condition for around $5000. I wish I could have surprised her with one of these, she would have really gotten a kick out of it.

I always thought they were really ugly but there were a couple on Hilton Head and she would always swoon over them.
I think she may have gotten over it a little when we realized that there was no interior whatsoever and that they are likely to rust straight through on the east coast.

i think u all are great friends. i didnt know her, or you. Im from California and googled "VW Thing" cuz I thought my BF was making that car up. Apparently not, the 1st site I came upon was this...dont know how, it was the pic of the orange car...anyhow. im soory u lost a friend, she sounds like she was pretty cool to be around. i can tell she is really missed.
